So true

The Ambler on Rachel Marsden.

Rachel Marsden might not be a good person, but that hardly disqualified her from writing a good column for the National Post. True, her track record was not encouraging, but writing is a craft that rewards persistent application, and Marsden is nothing if not persistent. But now, having read her first column, I can stop being polite.

As well he should. Read it.

  1. Well, I refuse to pay to read that rag.

her first paragraph isn't surprising... she manages to equate a radical artist's odd work here, in this society with people's faith being smeared and demeaned while they are being tortured and held illegally in Gitmo, while also pushing the false meme that the protests in the Afghanistan were all about a newsweek story that claimed that the Koran had been desecrated.

Yup, she's still a Coulter wanabe.

  2. Agreed that there's no surprise about how Coulterrific (or is Coulterrifying a better term?) the column was. Lest there be any doubt, the "it" that should be read is the deconstruction of the column.
