ReplyDeleteIf you think young people working a part time job on their own volition is serfdom, you need both a history lesson and a reality check.
ReplyDeleteThe point, of course, is that the same arguments made by anti-labour shills ("why shouldn't people be able to forfeit all employment standards for themselves?") apply equally as a rationale to ignore all forms of worker protection. And we have an ample historical record as to how all workers suffer when employers can undercut standards by using that against their employees.
