Accountability for thee, not for we

Marjory Lebreton makes clear that as far as she's concerned, accountability begins where partisan Con affiliation ends:
Senator Wallin is no longer a member of the Caucus and must be held accountable for her actions.
And needless to say the converse is also true as far as Lebreton and the rest of Stephen Harper's inner circle are concerned: for those within the Con caucus, accountability doesn't apply.

  1. I think you're right, Greg. Duffy and Wallin were great for fundraising but now they're expendable and, as such, perfect sacrificial sheep. I've been told there are damned few in the senate that could emerge unscathed from the sort of forensic audit to which the Gang of Four have been subjected just as there are a good many who couldn't satisfy the residence tests for out of province senators.
