On reason for grumpiness
Shorter Jim Flaherty attempting to defend his party's broken promises to Nova Scotia and Newfoundland: I've heard the Atlantic region is notorious for a culture of defeat. So I'm confident it'll eventually accept whatever we inflict on it.
