ReplyDeleteThat's a safe shorter Ibbitson much of the time. But this seems a bit different, particularly with Harper 2004 being presented as a cautionary tale - it's not so much an attack on left-wing parties as on any party who doesn't go out of its way to conceal what Ibbitson acknowledges to be necessary work. (So much for transparency in politics.)
