Based on Stephane Dion's
reaction, it doesn't look like the Bloc's
plan for a non-confidence motion on Afghanistan will manage to pass in any event. But given that the Cons not only didn't treat the last major vote on Afghanistan as a confidence vote but
stated their intention to extend the combat mission regardless of the result, is there any reason to think they'd be willing to accept a confidence motion on the mission now?
