Is it really fiscally responsible for the Harper government to have Conservative MPs winging off to various parts of the country on the taxpayer’s dime during an economic downturn in order to make announcements that could just as easily be made in Ottawa?No. But the Cons are happy to let us pay the price to make sure that the media questioning one minister doesn't have any idea what's being promised by the others.
