While the NDP
offers a guided tour of the Libs' sordid past, the Tyee's Bill Tieleman
points out that it isn't just the sights that are familiar, as the B.C. back-roomers involved in the leadership race include the leading figures associated with such proud Lib events as the Chretien/Martin feud and the
alleged bribery scandal surrounding the privatization of B.C. Rail. Which suggests that there may be a reason why the top Lib leadership candidates
don't seem to want to improve the Libs' past record on ethics...and that the Libs' decaying party structure isn't likely to improve no matter who's installed as the new head.
